Paragonix Technologies is excited to announce that we will be sponsoring a program to train fellows in the use of the Paragonix SherpaPak™ Cardiac Transport System. Fellows will be educated on Paragonix’s SherpaPak Primary Graph Dysfunction Cardiac Transport System, which has been adapted by multiple transplant programs around the world. They can expect to receive a hands on demonstration and interactive learning on the usage of Paragonix SherpaPak™ Cardiac Transport System by an expert.
The Paragonix SherpaPak™ Cardiac Transport System is intended to be used for the static hypothermic preservation of hearts during transportation and eventual transplantation into a recipient using cold storage solutions indicated for use with the heart. The temperature is maintained at 4-8 degrees Celsius and reported in real time via Bluetooth to mobile devices.
This program will be offered to any interested cardiothoracic fellowship programs in the US, and will enable a seamless transition to the use of the Paragonix SherpaPak™ Cardiac Transport System at your center.
