Clinical Coordinator

About the role

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Clinical Coordinator will manage data that is entered into our study database for accuracy and completeness. They will coordinate with hospital-based study sites regarding training, answering ad hoc questions, and solving potential errors in the data entry. As we are a growing company, it is anticipated that additional projects & registries will be initiated.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct site trainings and communications with hospital-based research coordinators
  • Participate in data cleaning, including searching for potential errors and clarifying with clinical study sites and statistical analysis of data
  • Create training and other study materials
  • Building forms for new studies and providing feedback
  • Assist in regulatory tasks
  • Ensure HIPAA compliance
  • Occasional travel may be required

Experience Required

  • 1-3 years working with clinical studies or relevant laboratory or academic experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills,
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality for protected health information
  • Preferred by not required – Lung Research experience
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in a study discipline that relates to clinical research
